My name is Vivienne Varay and I am a contemporary art jeweler. I make work about the emotional impact of objects and materials. The work that I make is both research and concept focused. I am interested in how contemporary art jewelry creates a sense of identity & power.

I have shown my work nationally and internationally in exhibitions at Hectare Galerie in Belgium, Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, Hera Gallery in Rhode Island, TAG Gallery in Los Angeles, Tincal Lab in Portugal, and Gallery2052 in Chicago.

Currently, I am living and working in Pullman, Washington. I am a Lecturer in the department of Digital Technology and Culture at Washington State University. Beginning in 2025, I will be the Board Secretary for Artist Trust. I received my Master of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia and my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Arizona State University.
